Consists of a typescript text written by Welby as a direct response to the author of "An Agnostic Apology," dated February 1893. Contains extensive marginalia, in Welby's hand, throughout. Text is colour-coded with legend on the verso of the first leaf. Additional letters referred to on title page wanting.
