"A typical room in the refugee camp at Wiener Neistadt, a former Russian barracks which is now being used to house hungarian refugees prior to their departure for the United States. Seen on left with arms folded on top bunk is Szabolos Pinter of Budapest. Reading on next bunk is Szilard Kiss, of Budabest. Seated on right, writing letter, is Claire Karsay, of Budapest, a skilled mechanic. Seen adjusting a painting above one of the beds is Prof. Ernest Kasas. The painting, that shows a scene in Budapest, was done by Kasas in his home in Budapest. It was one of the few things he managed to bring with him in flight from Hungary."
