Consists of a man drinking comically from an oversized mug with the words "TEXAS SHORT BEER" painted on the side, seated at a table with several small "stubby" beer bottles and a five dollar bill placed on it. A person holds a dime in the left-hand side of the frame, presumably for scale.
Caption on verso reads: "WHERE THE MEN WERE TRAPPED. Wall of unshored sewer trench collapsed on them". Additional annotations include : Oct 11 1961 Telegram "St. Andrew's Golf Course, North York".
