Description

Front side of bilingual tourist map issued by the Province of Québec in 1931. A legend in the lower left corner notes road conditions, international, provincial and county borders, highways, national parks, First Nations reserves, watersheds, and aerodromes. Local industries are marked in red. Inset maps in the lower right and upper middle left show the Montreal area and the Québec City area, respectively (a chart next to the Québec City map lists highways and their length in miles). Smaller maps can be seen around the perimeter of the scan that show the major roads going into cities throughout the province. Notes around the map contain various tips for travelers including speed limits and sign symbols.
